| Update hopefully someone can confirm my findings I hooked up a test gauge to fuel pressure and took it for a drive. Problem is directly related to fuel pressure. Upon the loss of power my pressure dropped to 23 then if I parked and idled it would slowly come a bit back up I bypassed the fpcu and took it for a drive. The fuel pump was working extra hard ( based on sounds) and struggled bad. Pressure dropped to 17 and only came back up to 20 on idle. My assumption would be that it is my fuel pump and that bypassing put extra stress on it and killed it a bit more. It's very noisy even as idle . Do I sound correct or does anyone have any other suggestions before I drop a bunch on a new pump?
